Unity of Allah (God) The most important concept of Islam is the Unity of Allah. It means that Allah (God) is one. None shares in His attributes in any way. He is the all Powerful, the all-Knowing, the ever-Living, the Eternal. In other words, He posses all the attributes of perfection. It can be also said that He does not posses any attribute of imperfection. So, we do not say that He can be ignorant of something or He can be over-powered by someone else, etc. One short chapter of the Holy Qur'an, Chapter 112 describes Allah in the best way: Chapter Name: The Unity In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Say: He, Allah, is One. Allah is He on Whom all depend. He begets not, nor is He begotten. And none is like Him.
